The academy was founded by Jester Lloyd Bautista, PhD, MSN, RN, NPD-BC, CCRN, SCRN, a doctorate-prepared nurse educator who has taught nurses since 2009 and is board certified in nursing professional development (NPD-BC). Every program is built on a simple conviction: exam readiness is taught, not wished for.

What's included with enrollment?
Your enrollment includes access to live review sessions, course materials, practice assessments, and direct support from our instructors. Specific inclusions vary by program option.
Can I switch program options after enrolling?
Program changes may be available depending on timing and availability. Contact us directly to discuss your options and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.
Does enrollment guarantee I'll pass the NCLEX?
Golden Oar provides review and coaching services only. Enrollment does not guarantee passing the NCLEX or any licensing exam. We are not affiliated with the NCSBN, any Board of Nursing, or any testing agency.
What is the refund policy?
All payments are final. For subscription plans, cancellation prevents future billing only. For fixed and premium packages, no refunds are available once access to sessions or materials is granted.
How does the Premium Review guarantee work?
If you enroll in the Premium Review and do not pass the NCLEX on your first attempt, you may attend one additional 8-session cycle at no additional cost. Proof of exam attempt is required. The guarantee is non-transferable and applies only to the same exam type and student.
